2009 season.

Spring was not early or with much heat. We had very high temperatures during blossoming about 1/7, 30C some days. Later in July and August there were much clouds and rain, but the temperature in the nights were not low. In September we had much sunshine and more heat than normal, in the nights too. First frost 6/10. We had this year a high production and berries ripened earlier than usually, especially the late varieties. In the table beneath we have written the ripening time for many of our varieties. We have made a few small corrections “removing” the earlier ripening of berries highest in the slope and the later ripening at the bottom of the slope. We have never had so small difference between the earliest and lates varieties.

3. desember.

Swenson Red is a very good table grape. The berries can be stored for a long time at low temperatures on the bush or in a cooling room.

7. oktober.

Esther has very tasty grapes, but they are ripening later in open field than supposed.

Don muskat has not got ripened berries yet.

5. oktober.

TP 1-2-15, for red wine, has big clusters. Some uneven ripening of berries.

5 oktober.

Following varieties were harvested today and oechsle in the juice was measured.

Red wine: Cabernet Cortis 82, Rondo 81, TP 1-2-15 80, VB 91-26-4 75, Bolero 70, Golubok 66

White wine: ES 10-22-43 81, ES M-9-6 86.

28. september.

Smugljanka, very hardy red wine variety, was harvested today, oechsle på 80.
